Pentecost Sunday

Pentecost Sunday takes place 50 days after Passover and Easter. In the Old Testament Pentecost took place during the Feast of First Fruits, a harvest feast. All of this can read   in; Exodes 34:22-43 and Deuteronomy 16:9-25 in the Bible.

In the New Testament, the Spirit of God comes to the apostles on Pentecost to fulfill Christ’s promise that they would receive power from the Holy Spirit to glorify God’s name to the nations. This can be read in Acts 2:1-13 in the Bible.

May the Spirit of God be with you this special day and through days to come.

Happy Pentecost to all and God bless!
