Spider Silk Goats?

So uhm… I’m sure the following clip is quite old already, but I was watching the Discovery Channel the other day and sure had myself a WTF moment when I saw a documentary about people manipulating animal DNA and such. Now it’s not a surprise, people have been manipulating DNA for quite some decades already. Anyone remember Herman?

Well. Here’s a bunch of goats with spider DNA for ya to freak you out. Or intrigue you. Just take a look at this lil clip:

  1. The farmer is quite smart for reconstructing animal DNA this way. I have seen this documentry and I agree that it is scary. But we should not fear development. We ones thought that the world was a flat as a pancake and those who told us otherwise, even with proof, scared us. For the unknown can be overwhelming. But change is good, always, in the end.

  2. What’s Happening to this world ?!?!!? i’m new to this, and it has given em the creeps! Good job for sharing this!

  3. Hello! I saw this too on TV. My schoolmates said I was on drugs when I told them, but now I can show them it’s not made up. Thank you!

  5. Silk spider goats? When I read your post I thought it was some scifi story. But then I saw the clip… Freakin freaky!

  6. Certainly you are aware of the fact that the discovery channel is much like Star Wars? They are nothing more than science fiction geeks, trolling the world with their lies. Just like History channel and all the other supposedly “educational” garbage on tv.

  7. Earlier when my girlfriend told me about spider goats I thought it was joke. Now she show me this and I am confuse. Is this real? Is it not joke? Why humanity so think they gods to dstroy nature!!? I feel sad 😦

  8. Greetings, I would love to own myself some spider goats. I don’t believe your story tells where I can find these interesting creatures. Please, tell me!
