Friends come and go. Some you would love to see again, and some you rather don’t see at all. Some people are there for a lifetime, some are there just for a moment and some are never meant to be there to begin with.

I’m an einzelgänger. I enjoy the company of others but I enjoy the company of me myself and I just as much. I can enjoy my time alone without feeling lonely. I can feel lonely while being surrounded by people.

There are days when I just sit in my room, painting, writing, singing by myself. There are days when I hardly get to do anything alone, because I’m needed here or there. There’s a long and bumpy road ahead but I’ll manage. I’ve got God on my side.
