I might have mentioned this before in my previous entries, but I heart classic movies from the 90’s, 80’s and even further back. And I just love Whoopi Goldberg.
In my opinion, Girl Power wasn’t introduced by the Spice Girls nor any other given chick out there who shakes her pom-poms, (ab)using her sexuality in a man’s world. (And yes, things may have improved slightly when it comes to women rights in most departments, but if I’d go on about this topic I’d have to make a new entry; for there’s still so much to improve when it comes to equal rights for both men and women in this world. Maybe some other time, but not this time).

To make (or keep) this blog entry short; With her outspoken character and the way she presents herself as a woman with bigger balls than the average Joe, I just think that Whoopi Goldberg embodies the real Girl Power.
Today I’ve watched another one of her brilliant movies again. So inspirational, so Whoopi. I recommend it to anyone out there.
