Here in Holland we tend to have 2 seasons in one day. No, make that 3 seasons in one day. It can be spring, autumn and summer in the blink of an eye. People getting sick with the flu or whatever because of a nice warm sun luring you to wear nothing but a shirt and hotpants. The moment you decide to chill with a nice cigarette and a cold drink, the black clouds start to cover the sky like a blanket and what-a-ya-know; you’re being drenched by rain. And when you’re lucky, you’ll have some nice thunder and lightning too!

Yes, the typical Dutch weather is basically unpredictable. Always have a jacket with you, even when the sun is shining so brightly that it feels like you’ve entered the Sahara desert. Always take an umbrella with you as well.

We have a joke here that if you take along those things, it will keep the sun out and keep the rain away. Cause every time you think you can just leave your umbrella and jacket at home, what-a-ya-know it rains!

Yes… I really have nothing else to ramble on about today. I’m really sorry.

But hey, I aint complaining now. It’s about 25 celcius out right now. It’s dry. It’s nice. Time for me to go outside and try to get myself a tan. Begging for the sun to shine paid off, so it seemed. Ofcourse I’ll still be tagging along my jacket. Cause like I said, ya never know what the weather will be like in an hour from now.

Bah…. I’m gonna stalk my friends now.
