Ramblings on a Thursday

It is thursday, March 14 in the year 2024. It is cold but sunny here in the land of wooden shoes and windmills. Good weather for putting freshly washed laundry up to dry on the balcony. Good weather for a stroll on the market. And yet I’m still in my home gear, contemplating what to do with my life. But then again, I contemplate what to do with my life every day. Not just on thursday.

Anyways. No, I don’t feel like turning to the AI assistant today. It was a fun experiment for a while. To try and see what great ramblings could come from an Artificial Intelligent Assistant. Perhaps spelling, grammar and such would be much better if the AI took over. But… No, just no. You will just have to do with the flawed writing skills of little old me.

So what’s new? Earlier this year I made a new Spotify playlist. I make a new playlist each year, with songs released in that specific year that triggered my ear. I wanted to add the new Spotify playlist on my wordpress blog too, and finally managed to do so today. Feel free to check it out. Computer users can find my Spotify playlist on the right of this blog. Mobile phone users might have to scroll down.

I also changed the logo of my wordpress blog. I didn’t really like the old one. I’m not quite sure if I like the new one either. But it’ll have to do for now. So for the time being, here is my new logo:

Maybe I’ll change the layout of the blog too. But I’m not too sure of that right now, because I like the layout. I prefer dark backgrounds, but maybe some change of color would be nice? I don’t know…

Whatelse is new..? Well, I got engaged in November 2023 during our trip to Indonesia. A wedding date hasn’t been set. Hubby-to-be wants a fancy wedding and wants to save enough money for the occassion. I’m not sure if I want a fancy wedding. But we have plenty of time to figure it out. It’s not like the world is going to stop spinning tomorrow. And there will always be next year. Right?

Nobody would want to read about how hubby-to-be asked my hand in marriage and how my mother and big brother had helped him with it. It’s quite a wholesome story. But I just wanted to make a short lil update post and this post is already getting too long for a short update post… Perhaps I’ll write the story some another time? Or not…?

I hear the washing machine beeping. Time to make use of that sunny weather and hang up some laundry to dry.

Have a good one.
