It is May 9th, Thursday and 9 days before Pentecost. Here in The Netherlands all stores and offices are closed. My mom rushed to church again, as many other Christians do on this day when we Christians remember that the resurrected Jesus was taken up to heaven in his resurrected body, in the presence of eleven of his apostles, occurring 40 days after the resurrection.
