I am so gonna trade Spotify in! The gateway error just looks like crap, ya know. Maybe I’ll just make a new list on hulkshare or something XD. It’s just so annoying…. But apparently when I bitch about it, it works for a lil while so…

Movie nights are fun. I’ve spent last night watching The Green Hornet, The Green Lantern, Matchstick Men, Stolen and Super 8. OMG, I had such a blast they are all pretty much worth the downloading time. And of course for dessert I had myself the Sint (dutch horror movie).

So anyway…

Matchstick Men is just the most brilliant movie ever. A master con artist who gets conned, just wow. And Nicolas Cage is just AWESOME in it, with his ticks and his obsessions with a clean carpet and the way he throws a fit when someone still has their shoes on in the house…. And then somewhere in the middle he finds out he has a 14-year-old daughter and this crazy obsessive man melts like wax to her wits and… Awwww, it’s really cute. This movie is a good mind fuck, btw.

Stolen actually reminded me of Matchstick Men. Maybe it’s cause of Nicolas Cage or the whole “we took the con’s kid”. I don’t know… For a moment it just felt like I had a dejavu while I watched Stolen.

It was a cool movie to see, though. A lot of action, along with a few interesting ideas to think about if you ever consider robbing a bank yourself… Nicolas Cage is cool. Yeah, it’s definately worth downloading 😛

And I had doubts about The Green Lantern. I mean… Ryan Reynolds is tasty but to create a world of live-action aliens without having the aliens look fake or cartoonish is a trick on its own, I guess. It’s not Avatar, that’s for sure… LOL.

But yeah, I used to watch the cartoon of The Green Lantern as a kid so it was still nice to see how they tried to make the movie work.

It was ok all in all. Sure liked the green lantern suit on Reynolds, made up for a whole lot XD Yum….

Anywayz…

Then there was The Green Hornet. At first I thought I made a big mistake downloading this movie. Maybe it had something do with the fact that I mixed some vodka in my hot Choco. I was like “Where’s Ryan Reynolds?” the entire time. But I do think The Green Hornet was way more interesting as a movie to watch, then The Green Lantern. It just made more “sense”. I just love exploding objects and the way Kato pimps up the car and… Everything he does.  I just love anti-heroes. I just love how The Green Hornet is a douche and how it’s the sidekick who is actually able to do EVERYTHING.

Gosh, I just love Kato XD He is total awesomeness… And I do love the car they drive and the green head lights and the big guns and the karate and the bad guy asking everyone why they don’t think he’s scary. Ah, I really enjoyed myself during this movie. So totally am going to watch it again.

I loved Super 8 too. But hey, I like anything Steven Spielberg touched or even blinked at during production. You can just feel he had something to do with the movie; the kids and the alien and just… Everything has that Spielberg feel.

But that J.J. Abrams (writter and director) sure knows how to make a mystery movie, though. A bunch of kids who run around with an 8mm camera to make their own little horror flick and then end up witnessing a horrible train accident… And things just get weird and exciting from there. It’s awesome.

I’m so going to download Cloverfield too now! I just love movies with aliens. I’ve so downloaded Area 51 last night and am SO going to watch it tonight 🙂

I actually have a lot to download still. Still want to complete my “Super Hero Movies” collection. So far I got the Spiderman collection, Batman collection and I’ve got Thor and the Green Hornet and Green Lantern now too. Still need a lot of X-Men. And maybe Superman too. So… Better go torrent hunting now.
