My pink elephant and I are very anxious about the Indaba Music remix competition. People on there are so friendly, I’ve never seen such a wonderful bunch of creative souls together being so social in a competition before. Normally, when you’re in a contest, people tend to bitch at one another. But on Indaba the competitors vote for one another’s submitted work and wish their fellow competitors the best of luck. Wow, what a breath of fresh air to experience this 🙂
I hate spam… Yet I’ve been spamming Facebook and Twitter for the passed two days to gain votes for my own remix. It felt quite awkward to spam like that…
But yeah…
It is fun at the same time. It gives a rush to see people respond to the song. Most of the responses to my remix so far have been quite positive, really. It made people laugh. And I guess that was my aim in the first place, to make people laugh. To take the seriousness away for lil’. And so, I guess it’s best if I myself don’t take it too serious either. Cause it should all be in good fun, just like the remix.
So… Yeah… Whatever… Tee-hee XD
To get my mind off things my sister and I have been playing Army of Two on the Xbox 360. Now that’s an addictive game. You have to work together throughout the entire game. One gives back up by sniping bullies while the other pulls all the “agro” and runs around like a grunt shooting up the enemy soldiers. If one dies, the other dies too. So you really have to work together. You get to choose between good and bad options throughout each chapter as you progress and each decision you make affects the rest of the game.
I’m normally not that much of a social gamer, despite the fact that I play WoW and Fiesta and the likes; I tend to “run around as an einzelganger”. It just feels awesome to walk through a dungeon all by yourself and questing alone, being able to say that I’ve done it all by myself. Ya’know?
But with Army of Two it’s different. I mean, I’ve got all the Halo games and I’ve got other games where you can co-op with other gamers… But Army of Two is just… Fun to play when I’m with my sis 🙂 It’s a social thing. We laugh together about how the two characters (Rios and Salem) argue and communicate to each other throughout the game; like a married couple. We go buck wild and stomp the heads off the dead bodies of dead soldiers we’ve been shooting up and laugh like hyena’s. It’s highly entertaining. So much fun. I recommend it to anyone who likes to play a strategic shooter in a social way.
Anyway…
I better go do something else now.
BTW: Please, if you have time; go and vote for my crazy pink elephant remix of Lost in The Echo. It would be highly appreciated. Only takes a second of your time. You can vote either with a twitter or facebook account. Thanks in advance.
