It was the hottest day in Holland yet, today. No clouds in the sky, no wind, just a hot stinging sun burning the pavements. People rushed to the beach, to the swimming pool or some other form of refreshment.
And what did I do, with this long awaited hot summer day? I moved shit around. Yep. On the hottest summer day til yet, my sister decided that she needed her stuff to be moved around. And for some silly reason I said “yes, I’ll help”. So while other people were relaxing under the sun or laying in a pool to cool down, I had a full body work-out with this fucking burning heat, lifting shit from 3rd floor all the way down to climb back up again with more shit.
But it’s for a good purpose. My sister wanted to rearrange a guest room ever since she moved into her new apartment. She lives that apartment for about two years now… But since the both of us have been way too busy with other… stuff. We basically have been postponing a few things until… She decided to do all those things on an absurd day, like today. Hooray for being a procrastinator! Hooray for insanity…
At least now when I spend a few days at my sister’s house I actually have a bed to sleep on. Used to sleep on the couch, which wasn’t that bad but yeah… Sleeping in a bed is always better, of course. So that’s nice.
Most of the stuff is already where it needs to be now. Just need to reorganize a few things. But that’ll come tomorrow. It’s still too hot and it’s 0.30!
Thank God for the fact that my sis has a balcony. During breaks I’d lay on the balcony, smoking a cigarette while trying to catch a few sun rays. Even a few minutes of sun already seemed enough to upgrade my tan. Am already a lil darker than 2 days ago – YAY! I tan pretty fast. Hooray for mixed genes XD I love the sunshine 🙂
Hopefully it’ll stay sunny a lil longer. Although it probably won’t… Since the weather forecast did predict that it’ll be a lil “colder” the upcoming days. We’ll probably have more rain, even. **sigh** Hmmm… Oh well.
Also had to help my sister bathe her rabbit today. Bathed my own rabbits yesterday. The bathing went really good and they all had some cuddling time afterwards on the couch. Neither of my own rabbits threw a fit. They went along with the process. The funniest part is blow drying the little cuddlies. We blow dried my sister’s rabbit too, after we bathed her today. So now.. All rabbits are fresh and clean now. Yay!
Don’t really have much else to say. I better go… Lay on the balcony with another smoke…
